Front Desk

Department: Admin

Reports to: Administrative Manager and Client Services Director

                     

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Front Desk Admin volunteer at the PRC is a regularly scheduled volunteer who has a heart for our ministry and clients. Front Desk Admin volunteers play a vital role in the daily operations of the center by providing much needed interaction with clients, staff, and the general public. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greet clients as they come into the center

  • Manage client check-in/check-out process for pregnancy test and ultrasound appointments

  • Schedule pregnancy retest appointments and ultrasound appointments as needed

  • Register clients for classes through our Expecting Miracles program

  • Be familiar with community resources in order to make proper referrals with clients

  • Tidy lobby/public restrooms as needed

  • Stock coffee cart and tidy up when necessary

  • Make reminder calls for appointments scheduled

  • Check inventory for all materials printed at the center and restock inventory.

  • Alert Administrative Manager of materials that need ordering

  • Write thank you cards for donations received

  • File client charts

  • Manage front desk unless otherwise instructed

 

Baby Boutique Assistance (as needed)

  • Help Clients select items from the Baby Boutique and check out items on point card

  • Receive donations and provide tax receipts when requested

  • Assist with receiving items for the Exchange Program

 

 

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

 

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • One shift per week (One year commitment unless otherwise discussed with Administrative Manager)

  • Three Volunteer In-Service Meetings per year
