Do you know each baby will use more than 6,000 diapers at a cost of $2000+ before potty training?
No mother should ever have to choose between food and diapers. You can help local families in need! Hold a diaper drive at your work, a grocery store, or place of worship to collect new, unopened packages of disposable baby diapers and wipes to donate to PRC's baby boutique. We serve over 500 single, young, or low-income women every year and diapers are our most requested item!
Hosting a Diaper Drive is as easy as 1-2-3!
- Call the PRC! We have tips & encouragement for a successful Drive.
Call local grocery stores that you think do a lot of business. Tell them you’d like to set up in front of the store to receive donations of diapers & wipes “for needy moms in Snohomish County”. When a store say’s “yes,” confirm a date on their calendar. (A Saturday between 10AM and 3PM is the best time to collect donations!)
Gather 4-6 of your friends to help greet shoppers, put a Diaper Drive poster over the collection bin and other strategic locations, hand out flyers, and receive all the donations of diapers & wipes. The PRC will provide tables and collection bins.
**Take Pictures! We love to share to encourage others to participate!**
When you have finished your drive, drop off the diapers at our center and we will give you a tour of our facility... especially the baby boutique!
Thank you so much for choosing to partner with us in this way. Your generosity will help local mothers and babies in a very practical way!
